Previous Question Papers



Kerala PSC website has a link 'previous question papers'. But till some days ago there were only 12 question papers under that. Those papers are of 2011 LDC exams. By this so many candidates could not find more previous question papers for preparation to attend the KPSC tests. 

Now PSC take a new decision to upload more question papers to the website. The candidates can use these for through study for various Kerala PSC examinations. Candidates can get previous papers in the form of question booklets. But the confidentiality of PSC website is more than those private agents. 

PSC had increased the number of LDC question papers to 13 from 11. Besides this there are other 200 papers of different previous PSC exams. They are very careful to upload the new question papers to the site.

These 200 papers uploaded in 6 pages. These papers include the question paper of latest exams of the posts KSIDC Overseer, Report in legislature secretariat, tradesman in Technical education department..... The question paper of the tests which have a definite number of applicants will upload in this category.

The candidates who are searching for previous question papers of KPSC exam became happy with this new inclusion in the online site. The people said that it will be better if PSC include the exam date with the published question papers.

Kerala PSC Advice Memo

The advice memo for appointment means the process of advising a rank holder who has a rank in the PSC list to a reported vacancy to KPSC. This advising process is according to the KS and SSR - 14 to 17 acts. Before sending the advice memos PSC would estimate the reported vacancies from various departments for a particular posts. If there are 20 vacancies it will make into a unit of 20. From those 20 vacancies 10 will go for OC (open competition) and next 10 for BC (backward class). If the number of vacancies is below 20, 50% of the number will go for the OC candidates and other 50% will be for the reserved candidates. One Time Registration: Doubts and Answers

Kerala PSC introduced One time registration process in 2012. All the candidates can write a PSC examination only after completing the one time registration. After the successful completion of the registration through the PSC website the candidates would get a user ID and pass word. We can make our own password and User ID. By using these one can enter into his profile in the Kerala PSC site and know about the notifications, announcements, probability list, short list ....The candidates can submit their online application for different PSC tests through this profile.
