Last Grade Servants Cut Off Mark

Last Grade Servant (LGS) examination had conducted by Kerala PSC in Trivandrum and Wayanad on 20-09-2014 with same LGS question paper. The cut off mark of the last grade exam of Trivandrum and Wayanad may be almost near to 75-82. KPSC had conducted LGS test in each district with different question papers till the previous year. But now PSC changes its habit. The tests of the 2 districts were by using same paper.

The question paper pattern of LGS exam of Trivandrum and Wayanad included questions from general knowledge, current affairs, Kerala development, General science.... Usually Kerala PSC including 90 questions from the above topic in the recent years' LGS question papers. Remaining 10 questions would be from simple arithmetic's and mental ability. But in this time PSC had changed this system of question pattern. The Trivandrum, Wayanad LGS paper contains 19 questions from Mathematics. In last grade servant syllabus, there is no Malayalam grammar. But the TVM, WYD question paper provides a place for questions from Malayalam grammar also.

This question paper is very easy because it includes many familiar PSC questions. All the candidates who were prepared for the LGS test should read these questions and answers many times during their revision. The candidates who have the habit of newspaper reading can achieve full marks for current affairs questions. The general science questions are also very simple. So in GK an applicant can score maximum marks with ease.

Even there are 19 Mathematics questions 90% of these are easy and familiar 60 the PSC preparing people. The 19 Maths questions asked by Kerala PSC are by the influence of previous question paper, that is all would get models of these questions from old PSC question papers.
